What is a College Workforce Training Program?
Workforce Training Programs offered by College around Idaho allow workers to gain further skills in their current occupation, learn the skills they need to make a career change, or enter into an apprenticeship program to “earn while they learn”. Workforce Training Programs also benefit businesses and employers as it offers the opportunity to improve their workforce.
For example, College of Southern Idaho offers Electrical, HVAC, Machine Operator, Maintenance, and Plumbing apprenticeship programs that allow you to learn your trade while getting paid. All of the Colleges which offer these Workforce Training Programs have different apprenticeships that you can get into.
