Construction Linemen Apprenticeship

As a Construction Linemen apprentice, you will build and maintain electrical power systems. You will train and manage the lines from the power plants all the way to the customer’s meter. The lines may be on overhead structures or in underground vaults and trenches in rural and metropolitan areas.

As an apprentice you will climb electrical towers up to 500 feet or more. And work outside during all seasons and weather types to get the job done. At times power lines fall or become inoperable due to bad weather or storms, this is when the outside electrical line constructor performs critical duties.
